1. Who we are

GridResilience is operated by Dr. Parádi József, a sole proprietor registered in Hungary (registered seat: 1034 Budapest, Szomolnok utca 20., 3rd floor, door 1; tax number 92423578-1-41; EU VAT number HU92423578; sole proprietor register no. 62885249). Contact: budapest@gridresilience.eu.

Professional background. Dr. Parádi József (CSc) is a retired border-guard colonel who served his entire career as a border-guard officer — the Hungarian Border Guard was integrated into the Police in 2007 — with four decades of practical and academic work in border security and military science. He is the founder and President of the Szemere Bertalan Hungarian Law Enforcement History Scientific Society (SZBMRTT), an independent learned society founded in 1990 and registered in Hungary (registration no. 01-02-0003324), whose field is Hungarian law enforcement history. Public professional record: szbmrtt.hu/en/szemelyek · ORCID 0000-0003-3368-2944.

The Society is an independent legal entity. It is not the seller and is not a party to this contract: the seller is Dr. Parádi József, sole proprietor. Orders, invoices, licences and liability under these terms rest with the sole proprietor alone.

2. What we sell

We sell one digital product, the Chokepoint Dossier: a 13–14 page PDF dossier on one corridor, covering every protocol domain, produced from the current open-source snapshot, signed and hash-verifiable. Each edition is identical in structure; only the corridor changes. Every order is a one-off purchase. There is no subscription, no renewal and no recurring charge.

The product is built on information gathering and structuring, governed by a logic that follows a military and border-security methodology. That logic concentrates on prevention and on the identification of so-called decoy phenomena. Decoy logic recognises events that are real but display attention-diverting and capacity-draining patterns, and reads such patterns as an assessment of the balance of forces and preparation for the execution of the real objective.

By completing the order you confirm that you have read the product description and the sample, that you have read these terms, and that you buy on that basis — including the confidentiality obligation in section 7. The version of these terms in force at the moment of payment is the version you accepted.

3. Orders and delivery

Orders are placed on our Stripe-hosted payment page. At checkout you give the e-mail address to which the dossier is delivered, your billing details and, for business customers, a tax number. Delivery is automated: the PDF, together with its detached PGP signature, is generated and e-mailed to that address within minutes of the payment. If an automated delivery fails — a mailbox that rejects the message, a generation error — we re-send it or contact you at the same address, and in that case deliver within 24 hours of the payment. The order reference (format CD-YYYYMMDD-XXXX) is shown on the payment page and on the invoice; please quote it in any correspondence.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the address, company name and tax number you provide. If delivery to the address given fails, we contact you at the same address; if it still fails, the order is cancelled and the amount paid returned. If the dossier is materially defective or does not match the scope confirmed, we re-issue it — see our Refund Policy.

The PDF carries a detached PGP signature, made with the operator's personal key, fingerprint 512A 10A6 83CD DAFA A00C BECF 2E08 44B4 6B3A C477. Dr. Parádi József uses that same key, in his capacity as President, for the official documents of the Society. The signature therefore identifies him personally in both roles; it does not make the Society the issuer of the dossier or a party to this contract.

Delivery record. Every delivery is logged on our side: the order reference, the address the dossier was sent to, the time of sending, the acceptance returned by the receiving mail server, the message identifier and the SHA-256 of the attached PDF. The delivery e-mail states the same details, so that both parties hold the same record. That record is our evidence that the dossier was delivered; a claim that it was not must be substantiated, and a bare assertion is not proof — see our Refund Policy.

4. Price, payment and taxes

The price is EUR 290 per dossier and is the final amount payable. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store card data. Stripe acts as a payment service provider only — it is not the merchant of record, and the seller under this contract is Dr. Parádi József.

We operate under the Hungarian alanyi adómentesség (subject-to-VAT exemption, “AAM”): no VAT is charged and no VAT amount is shown on the price or on the invoice. For business customers established in another EU member state, the place of supply is the customer's country and the invoice is issued on that basis (reverse charge); the customer accounts for any VAT due in its own member state.

5. Invoices

An invoice is issued for every payment, in English, and delivered electronically. Our invoicing system reports each invoice to the Hungarian tax authority (NAV) by machine, as Hungarian law requires. The invoice shows the billing details and tax number you provided at checkout.

6. Right of withdrawal and refunds

The dossier is digital content supplied immediately. Where the customer is a consumer, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply once performance has begun with the consumer's express consent and acknowledgement that the right is thereby lost (Government Decree 45/2014 (IX. 25.) § 29). That consent is given at checkout, where these terms must be accepted before payment. Business customers have no statutory right of withdrawal. Independently of that, all sales are final once the dossier has been delivered: we offer no discretionary refunds. Non-delivery and material defects are handled under our Refund Policy — re-send, re-issue, or cancellation of the order where we cannot perform at all.

7. Licence and confidentiality

The licensee may read, store and reproduce the dossier within its own organisation, and may show it to, quote it to and discuss it with its clients, prospective clients, superiors, professional advisers, auditors, insurers and regulators in the course of its own professional activity or of a decision it is taking.

What “internal use” means. Internal use means use within the licensee's organisation and its professional circle as described above. It does not require the reader to be an employee of the licensee: a client, a superior, an adviser or a financing party may read it, quote it and refer to it in the context of the licensee's own work.

Not permitted. The dossier may not be sold, resold, sublicensed, rented or otherwise distributed as a product, publication, data feed or standalone deliverable — including to the licensee's own clients as a document in its own right. It may not be redistributed to third parties for their independent use, included in a competing dataset, or posted publicly in whole or in part.

No resale arrangement. Resale and redistribution are excluded by this licence. No agreement, mandate or arrangement may grant the licensee the right to resell or redistribute the dossier.

Confidentiality (NDA). The dossier is confidential research prepared for you. You undertake to keep its contents confidential and not to disclose it to any third party except as permitted above. Accepting these terms at checkout is acceptance of this obligation. It begins on delivery and continues for five years, and continues after that for as long as the information remains confidential. Statutory trade-secret protection remains untouched.

Term. The licence covers this edition. Updated editions are licensed under the same terms while the subscription is active.

No advice. The dossier is decision support, not investment, legal or insurance advice. It is not a compliance programme; verify against the instrument in force.

8. No advice, no warranty

The dossier contains model estimates derived from open-source reporting. It is not a forecast, not a recommendation, and not investment, legal or compliance advice, and must not be the sole basis for a trading or policy decision. The product is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law; we do not warrant that the underlying sources are complete or error-free.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including trading losses or loss of profit.

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure or delay caused by an event beyond its reasonable control, including natural disaster, war, civil unrest, epidemic, strike, a sustained failure of the public internet or of a hosting, payment or e-mail provider, or of a public authority's system. The affected party notifies the other without undue delay and mitigates the effect. If such an event lasts more than 30 days from the payment, either party may cancel the affected order and the amount paid for it is returned. This section does not excuse payment for an order that has already been performed.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force at the time of your order governs that order; material changes are announced on this page, with a new “last updated” date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by Hungarian law, with the courts of Hungary having jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also turn to the European Consumer Centre network.
